The AUT Rapid Prototyping Lab forms part of AUT University's infrastructure facilities. It is an advanced manufacturing technology laboratory that provides services to AUT staff and students, as well as industry partners, to create prototypes in a variety of materials.

Facilities include several 3D printing machines, laser cutting, 3D laser scanning, CNC machine, manual injection molding, silicone molding, and various other manufacturing facilities.

The lab also has the ability to prototype software and electronic systems.
